There’s something rather special about a proper smash burger, and at Compton Pool we take ours seriously!
We use locally sourced Ruby Red Devon beef, with a minimum 25% fat content, freshly minced by our butcher on the day. Each patty is smashed onto a searing-hot griddle, developing wonderfully crisp, caramelised edges while remaining juicy and packed with flavour.
Our Oklahoma-style smash burger takes things further, with wafer-thin onions smashed directly into the beef as it cooks. Fancy a little heat? Our chilli smash burger features razor-thin jalapeños smashed into the patty, finished with smoky chipotle mayo.
Add melted cheese, toasted potato buns, homemade sauces and carefully chosen toppings, and you’ve got a burger worth staying in for.
And no proper burger is complete without super-crispy fries, served with a selection of our homemade dips.
Everything is freshly prepared, full of flavour and served with a generous helping of Compton Pool personality.

Or perhaps you’d rather put your feet up in your cottage? No problem! We’ll bring your freshly cooked burgers and super-crispy fries straight to your door, with complimentary delivery across the estate.
