Meet the animals
Across the estate you’ll meet a variety of friendly animals, each with their own character. At the top of the grounds are our three not so little piggies, often the first to greet visitors, followed by our three full size goats, who are always curious and full of personality.
Children also love visiting the guinea pigs, watching the alpacas enjoying their hay, and meeting our five miniature Nubian goats, who are a favourite at feeding time. The rabbit pen offers a calmer spot to pause and enjoy quieter moments with some of our smaller residents.

Our alpacas are one of the most popular parts of staying at Compton Pool. Guests can enjoy watching them in their paddock or join one of our guided alpaca walks, which take place through the surrounding countryside and offer a relaxed, hands-on experience led at the alpacas’ pace.
