for all ages
Animal feeding takes place daily at 9.30am, and children are always welcome to help. It’s an easy, informal way to start the day and a chance to feel part of everyday life on the estate.
Animal feeding offers guests the opportunity to spend time with our animals, learn about their quirks and behaviours, and see what makes each one unique. It’s a calm, friendly experience where questions are encouraged and curiosity is rewarded.
Our alpacas and miniature Nubian goats are particular favourites, and feeding time is often when guests really get to know their individual characters.

Complimentary feed included
We provide a complimentary bag of animal feed for each day of your stay, included as part of your visit. The feed is suitable for our pigs and goats, allowing guests to enjoy feeding time without needing to plan ahead.
Additional bags of feed are available to purchase from reception .
Animal feeding is designed to fit naturally into your stay, sitting alongside alpaca walks, countryside exploring and relaxed time on site. It’s not a show or attraction, but a genuine moment of connection with the animals and the landscape they live in.
