We had a wonderful week at Compton Pool, we stayed in Redlake which was cleaned to perfection. The facilities at this place are amazing, a super swimming pool with changing rooms and showers.... a great games room with a pool table, table football, table tennis and air hockey(£2.00 per game). The goats, pigs and rabbits were a real hit with our kids and the owners kindly left food in the cottage so they could feed them. There was a lovely Easter egg hunt organised for all the children, and afterwards ice creams all round. The grounds are beautiful, would definitely recommend to anyone....especially those with children.
Our second stay at Compton Pool. Fantastic facilities for both children and adults. We didn't really need to venture very far from the site due to so much to keep us entertained- tennis court, games room, swimming pool and the animals. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable (we stayed in Redlake), and the new owners Paul and Debbie were friendly and welcoming. It was clear that they are already making positive improvements to the already stunning site, and want to continue to do this. We have just booked to return so that should say it all!
We've had a fabulous week here...despite typical English weather. The swimming pool, games room, play area and animals (pigs, goats, chickens) kept my 10 year old daughter entertained when we were on site...but there's lots to do and see in the local area. Redlake cottage was very clean and comfortable, and the whole site is laid out very well. We would recommend this to anyone.
